About
Welcome to Delia’s Mexican Grill, a hidden gem located at 201 N 10th St, Columbia, MO. This vibrant eatery transforms your typical Mexican dining experience into something truly memorable. With an inviting atmosphere, it’s no wonder Delia's has become a local favorite. As a food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I am excited to share the delights that await you at this restaurant.
Delia’s Mexican Grill prides itself on offering delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine, and this is evident in every bite. On their menu, you’ll find mouthwatering options like the Chicken Fajitas, which come generously garnished with a colorful array of toppings such as guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream. Priced at a reasonable US$14.99, this dish promises a rich and enticing flavor profile that embodies the essence of Mexican cooking.
For families, the Kids Menu offers delightful choices like the Cheese Quesadilla and Taco Plate, each a mere US$7.99. These options ensure that younger diners can enjoy well-loved flavors in a friendly setting, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings.
Drink enthusiasts won’t be disappointed either; whether you prefer a classic Coke product or the refreshing touch of sweet or unsweetened tea — all are available for just US$3.00. Don’t miss out on their cocktails; customers rave about the peach margarita and cilantro lime margarita, truly elevating the meal experience.
But don’t just take my word for it. Delia's has received praise from customers like Sean Cunningham, who highlighted the "friendly staff" and the "on point" queso topping over a delectable tamal platter. The overall atmosphere is noted for being a cut above typical fast-casual spots, with generous portions and fair prices, as Greg M enthusiastically points out.
The homemade salsa and chips are another crowd favorite, and I can personally vouch for how they complement each dish, adding an extra layer of freshness. As Scott Schaefer described, the intimate setting may lead to a wait, but the experience is well worth it, especially when surrounded by the cheerful smiles of the amazing staff like Jordan Watkins mentions.
Finally, Delia’s Mexican Grill stands as a testament to the joys of dining out: wonderful food, friendly service, and an upbeat atmosphere. Whether you’re in for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends or family, Delia’s will undoubtedly leave you with a satisfied palate and a longing to return.
“ Friendly staff and tasty food. I enjoyed the tamal platter - their queso topping is on point! ”
“ A nice and trendy feeling Mexican restaurant. Clearly a notch above the typical establishment of this type of food. Portions were generous, so you will not leave hungry. Salsa was amazing, as were the chips. Prices were fair. Recommended. Will definitely return. ”
“ Always great food! We tried the peach margarita, cilantro lime margarita and a few others. Our group enjoyed then all! The atmosphere is great. This is an intimate location so there is a wait sometime - but it’s always worth it. ”
“ Outstanding. Another small place but nicer than a whole in the wall restaurant. Steady crowd in for lunch. Hot pork tamale was very good. Street carnita tacos were delicious but the added touch was their homemade hot sauce. Wonderful bite to it. Salsa was also homemade and good. Looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes. ”
“ this place has now become a regular of mine. we have a lovely lady server which i don’t want to spell her name wrong, but she’s amazing. so is manuel the guy server in there. all are very friendly, nice, and welcoming. coming from someone who’s usually picky with service, this place never fails and the food is so amazing to top it off! hot everytime:) and drinks are delicious:) totally recommend! ”
“ I literally stopped eating so I could leave a review. Best mexican restaurant I have ever had! The staff is very friendly and the food was outstanding! Very low key place downtown, amazing drinks, overall one of the best places in Columbia in my opinion! If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out! Ask for Daniel he is wonderful! ”
“ I believe that I just had some of THE best Mexican food that I've had since the last time that I was in Ft. Worth. And that's been over a decade now. We enjoyed the Delia's Nachos, fajita asada chimichanga, the taco salad, and a dragon fruit margarita. Their atmosphere was cozy, modern, and friendly all at the same time. Their food was so good that I was moved to write this review about it. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It was not like you only had just your waiter servicing you, but every one of the staff that passed would ask us if we needed anything. It was almost like you were more than just a customer. You were family. And they treat their family well, very well. ”
“ Wow! Fresh food and exceptional service! We went there for dinner on 8-2-22 and were treated like royal family. I had the chicken fajitas and my wife had a steak fajitas, and because we’re on some certain diet restrictions where to change some stuff up, And they were more than willing to accommodate us and nailed it perfectly. Definitely will come back again. ”
